prime time romance by Kate RobbWhen Brianna receives a mysterious birthday cake on her 30th birthday, the young divorcee wishes for a happily ever after. The next morning, she wakes up to her favorite comforting show, Carson Cove, which ended on a cliffhanger, before wholesome Sloane and golden boy Spencer could admit their love for each other. Even more surprising is that his roommate Josh is also there and to everyone in the fictional town, they appear as the show’s characters, Sloane and residential bad boy Fletch. To return to their reality, they must fulfill Brian’s wish by having Sloane and Spencer confess their feelings for each other. However, the more time they spend together, the more Brian begins to wonder if Fletch is Sloane’s perfect match. |

Riot-related recommendations
One of the most beloved tropes in romance is the meet cute. You know, the first time the main characters meet each other, whether it’s because of a misplaced hat or a stray dog. Their eyes meet, and there’s an instant connection, and the rest, as they say, is history.
But since I’m really a chaos demon disguised as a (mostly) mild-mannered upright member of society, I prefer meeting disasters. I think they make better stories when you explain how they came together. Those are the vibes for today’s recommendations. Enjoy!
storm by Beverly JenkinsWhen mail-order bride Regan shoots at her would-be groom Colton, saying the marriage started off on the wrong foot is an understatement. Still, the widower needs a mother for his child and knows the best way to do that is to marry again. Despite their inauspicious introduction, the two are gradually drawn to each other and are prepared to face any opposition that may try to prevent their love from succeeding.

two wrongs make a right By Chloe LiseWhen logical Jamie debunks astrology in front of zodiac-loving Bea, she reacts accordingly, and the two make up to dismiss each other. But when they discover their closest friends tricked them into going on a second date, they decide to get revenge, letting them think it worked out, but breaking up in a big way. But as they play the role of new lovers, they find themselves truly falling in love and wondering if the friend’s good intentions were true after all. |
