He said that while the title change may seem significant, the shift is more about refining focus rather than a complete departure from former responsibilities.
“In my previous role as CMO, I was already involved in the strategic sales and global sales aspects,” he said. “The change to CRO is a continuation of that work with an increased focus on driving revenue and growth.”
He will lead several key initiatives aimed at enhancing Kaseya’s market position and supporting the MSP community, including the expansion of Kaseya 365, AI and automation, particularly around onboarding and offboarding processes, and a one-year roadmap focused on improving MSP profit margins.
“We have an important roadmap in place, starting with the Detocon event in Miami,” he said. “We are launching a multi-phase plan to address the unit economy of the MSP industry, which we believe is unfairly skewed. The average profit margin of an MSP is 10 percent, while other business services enjoy higher margins despite being of equal importance to their clients.”

He also spoke on the emerging technological landscape and the role of AI in it.
“AI is a game-changer, but it’s essential to use it practically,” he said. “We’re focused on integrating AI in ways that provide meaningful insights and increase efficiency for our partners, such as through our Copilot feature and automation tools.”
Going forward, Sanders sees “enormous potential” for growth in both the MSP market and Kaseya’s position within it.
“Our goal is to continue our aggressive growth and take advantage of the expanding market to benefit both our company and our partners,” he said. “I have spent my entire career in this field because I find it incredibly gratifying. We are dedicated to helping our partners build successful businesses and effectively serve their customers. It’s an exciting time, and I’m thrilled to be at the forefront of it.”
Michael Goldstein, CEO of LAN Infotech, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, said Sanders has always been available to partners when they need it most.
“He’s always trying to make the MSP channel better and his communication with us is great,” he told CRN. “The entire management team at Kaseya has been accessible, and I think that’s important. He’s always been a non-controversial spokesperson and I think that’s important. And we’re really excited to see what the next announcements about Kaseya 365 will be at Datacon to help us get to the bottom line.”
