No School Island Conference on February 19-20


The inaugural No School Is an Island Educators Conference will be held in February, 2025.

A spokesperson said, “The island of Bermuda is ready to welcome teachers, policy makers and community youth leaders from across the Atlantic and Caribbean regions for the inaugural No School Is An Island Bermuda-Caribbean Regional Teacher Conference. This milestone event was organized by Chatmore British International School, Bermuda in collaboration with the British International Schools Council [COBIS]Rosewood will be at Tuckers Point from Wednesday February 19th through Thursday February 20th, 2025. The theme of the conference is cooperation, harmony and confidence.

“The education sector across the world has faced immense challenges since the pandemic, with teacher shortages affecting many countries. Bermuda, currently going through its own process of education reform, is experiencing the stress of change and adjustment on teachers, students, families and policy makers alike. Here in Bermuda an education conference provides an important opportunity for our community to gather, share insights and find new hope. By connecting with teachers from across the region, we can create collaborative relationships that support and uplift each other, bringing a sense of validation, shared purpose, and confidence to navigate this period of change together.
