ADG PI said that it is emphasized that the Indian Army salutes the supreme sacrifice made by Agniveer Ajay Kumar. He was given a final farewell with full military honors. It was also said that Rs 98.39 lakh has already been paid to the victims of Agniveer Ajay.

ADG PI said that under the Agniveer scheme, financial assistance and other benefits worth about Rs 67 lakh will be paid after police executions. The total amount will be around Rs 1.65 crore. The report stressed that the financial assistance to the families of martyred soldiers will be paid as soon as possible, including Agniveers.
